Unfortunately, Joey Bada$$ made the ill-advised decision to diss the West Coast due to the run they’ve been on, spearheaded by Kendrick Lamar. Of course Ray Vaughn isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. The end result is what you hear above; a methodical 4-minute long dismantling of Joey and anyone else who has been speaking down on the West Coast. Performed over Kendrick’s “The Heart Pt. 6”, a head-bopping loop of SWV’s “Use Your Heart” instrumental. Reminiscent of a 9th wonder boom bap instrumental off Limewire.
