Autumn Paige takes center stage in Amazon Prime’s New Show

When it comes to primetime television, very names carry the same weight as Dick Wolf. So when he came calling for Autumn Paige, understand she had to show exactly why she’s going to be such a force in the entertainment industry. While mid-roll out of her debut single under Eric Benét’s entertainment group JBR Creative, Autumn proudly announced her guest role on Amazon’s new hit show “On Call”, showing exactly how much work she’s been doing lately.

Appearing in the 4th episode with minutes of screentime (supercut shown above), she plays a scorned dealer turned narc who helps the police with their investigation. Of course, this comes after a truly unfortunate rice mishap that the police are less than thrilled to walk in on. Even with the silly premise, Autumn fully commits to the role and delivers a great and believable performance. Just like multiple fashion brands have found, just like Volkswagen has found, just like now Amazon and Dick Wolf have found… Autumn commands the screen whenever she’s on it. Look forward to more roles in the near future.

After the heartfelt and inspiring post above, I sat down with our upcoming superstar and asked a couple questions:

ASPIRE: “WELP. IT’s finally out. i remember you talking about this when we first met, and today’s the day. how are you feeling now that it’s out? was the wait difficult?”

AUTUMN: “I SHOT THIS BACK IN 2023 SO IT was DEFINITELY NERVE-WRACKING having to wait all this time. IT WAS ALSO THE FIRST ROLE I’VE EVER BOOKED. i still remember how it felt back then. MY LEASE WAS ABOUT TO BE UP, I WASN’T EVEN MAKING ENOUGH FOR RENT TO STAY IN L.A. at all. i had JUST SIGNED TO MY AGENCY, HAD GOT MY FIRST CALLBACK FOR ‘P VALLEY’ THINKING THAT WAS THE ONE I WAS GOING TO GET….AND THEN I DIDN’T GET it.

I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS GONNA Do. i was STAYING ON MY FRIENDS COUCH still trying to figure it out. I BOOKED A TICKET TO COME HOME FOR REAL. but then this came through out of nowhere. I DIDN’T EVEN GET A CALLBACK FOR THIS ROLE, THEY JUST FLAT OUT BOOKED ME. believe it or not, I WAS OFFERED TWO ROLES in the same episode ACTUALLY, AND WAS ABLE TO CHOOSE WHICH ONE TO GO WITH.  AND THIS IS WHAT ALLOWED ME TO STAY IN L.A.”

ASPIRE: “incredible. some of us have a similar story about last second breakthroughs that always seem to change everything. well, the show is getting great reviews across the board. with this being your first role, what do you want people and casting directors to get from this scene you’re in? and in an ideal world, where does this lead to?”

AUTUMN: “I HOPE THEY SEE THAT I CAN REALLY ACT WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT. and i want them to love it like i did the first time i saw it. i mean this is what i dreamed of. i still remember THE FIRST TIME I SAW the playback, I HAD TO COME IN AND DO A VOICEOVER TO DO SOME CORRECTIONS SINCE I DIDN’T HAVE A MIC WHEN SHOOTING AND I LOVED SEEING THE PLAYBACK THE FIRST TIME. BUT I WANT TO CONTINUE TO BUILD MY PORTFOLIO AND WANT PEOPLE TO SEE I CAN PLAY ANYTHING. LONG TERM, I WANT TO PLAY AN ASSASSIN, OR AN ALIEN IN SPACE.”

ASPIRE: “ha! So Zoe Saldana.”

AUTUMN: ”SHES MY FAVORITE ACTOR! REALLY! I’m super inspired by her because she really makes you feel something when she’s on the screen. I’ve been a mega-fan ever since watching the behind the scenes of Avatar. she couldn’t even see a fraction of what we saw in the end result, but she still nailed all the expressions and emotions of it. just incredible. I want to be at that level where when people watch me, they relate to me just through the emotion of it.”

ASPIRE: “she’s underrated for sure. but finally getting some overdue respect with her recent lead role on ‘the lioness.’ we gotta make that collaboration between you two happen then. well it was a pleasure as always. hopefully you had as great a time filming and on set as we did watching your episode.”

AUTUMN: “really did! And much love to Dick Wolf and the rest of the team because I’ve never been treated so well on a set before. Really felt like royalty, had my own trailer and umbrella holders and all. haha It was really just a cool experience, can’t wait to do it again.”
