AUTUMN PAIGE GOES TOPLESS

To say Autumn Paige has had a busy year would be an egregious understatement. Not only has she been working on her first album and releasing music, she’s also been in multiple commercials and advertisements, doing multiple photoshoots weekly while becoming a content creator. A queen of all trades. And her hard work was rewarded by catching the attention of actor and R&B legend Eric Benét, signing to his creative label/agency “JBR Creative Group” in August.

The song was originally released earlier this year, but pulled down to make a new updated version with a few changes and additions, as well as remastering to take it up a notch. Featuring the staple cheerful pop sound with a groovy bassline and clean drums, her smooth vocals and background harmonies really set the tone for what she’s capable of and what to expect in the future. And all this happiness is punctuated with lyrics sure to be relatable to any girl burned by a guy who only wanted one thing, making this a great bitter anthem for the upcoming winter.

Produced by our friend and frequent collaborator Emile Ghantous, he said this when asked about how it came about:
“ ERIC (benÉt) AND I WE’RE TALKING AND THOUGHT MAYBE LIVE STRINGS WOULD TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL TO GO WITH THE STRING LINE WE ALREADY HAD. WE HIRED THIS GUY NAMED BOB BARRETT WHO DID THE NEW ARRANGEMENT, AND WE RECORDED WITH THE BUDAPEST ORCHESTRA. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME WORKING WITH THEM, AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE SEEING THEIR 40-PERSON ORCHESTRA PLAYING LIVE TO THE RECORD.
BUT OVERALL I HOPE IT GIVES PEOPLE A NOSTALGIC FEELING BECAUSE ITS REMINISCENT OF SO MANY THINGS WE GREW UP ON LIKE IN THE 70S, 80S, AND 2000S. I HOPE THEY JUST FEEL GOOD WHEN THEY HEAR IT BECAUSE ITS SUCH A UNIQUE CONCEPT. IVE NEVER HEARD OF SOMEONE SINGING ‘HE ONLY WANTS ME WHEN IM TOPLESS.’ ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO BE CLEVER, AND FIND A WAY TO SAY THINGS IN A NEW WAY SO HOPEFULLY THEY LOVE IT. ”
Along with the official video (above), and a content/media campaign through JBR on socials, Autumn and the team enjoyed a release party celebrating the official release last night at Apt 200 LA, an intimate but buzzing club managed by Aspire’s own Nikal Fieldz. With more to come from the project soon, Autumn is running full speed to close out 2024.
