Hailing from Long Beach, Ray Vaughn is one of TDE’s newest and most interesting signings in their storied history. Launching to stardom after viral freestyles on LA Leakers and the Bootleg Kev show, Ray captured the attention of the music industry with his witty lyricism and relatable subject matter. He soon followed that up by appearing on the hit TV show, “Wild N Out” alongside Nick Cannon in an especially funny episode showing his personality and star potential.

Ray is an artist unlike any of the others on TDE, as he is one of their youngest and connects to his fans almost exclusively on social media. He’s been releasing viral clip, after viral clip of him rapping to self-directed short films and music videos. And Ray has barely scratched the surface with his numerous talents, many are completely unaware of his songwriting ability outside of rap, having already penned an entire R&B project for rising R&B star Layton Green.
