Loverboy Vo releases the third single from his highly anticipated project “Cupid’s Revenge.” This record continues the story and Cupid finds himself going full villain and hooking up with his ex’s friend just for revenge. A stark contrast to the uptempo and playful R&B instrumental dancing behind Vo while he sings about letting her go like frozen and gleefully being petty.

“My Lick Back” was produced by Yonas and The TEN’s Sir Rahmal, as well as written by Loverboy Vo himself with Rxxm504. When speaking about the new single, LBV stated:
“GETTING YOUR LICK BACK ALWAYS FEELS BETTER WHEN IT’S CLOSE TO HOME. I WAS JUST INSPIRED BY THE MANY TIMES WHERE PEOPLE GET PLAYED AND GOT SICK OF IT. NOT ME PERSONALLY! BUT JUST TO REALLY LEAN INTO THE STORY OF THE ALBUM. PEOPLE GO THROUGH IT EVERY DAY YOU KNOW… MAYBE NOT THEIR BEST FRIEND BUT PEOPLE ARE FOR SURE GETTING THEIR LICK BACK.”
