AUTUMN PAIGE REALLY HATES BAGGAGE

Autumn Paige - Baggage (prod by Emile Ghantous) Out Now

The gorgeous, wonderful, talented, and lovely Autumn Paige returns with her first single of the year. It’s a beautiful ode to the joy of finding new love; finding someone who removes your anxiety, worth throwing away your baggage, and subverting expectations. Ah… young love.

“  THROW  ALL  MY  BAGGAGE  AWAY
GIVE  YOU  THE  CODE  TO  THE  GATE
LET  YOU  COME  UP  TO  MY  PLACE
FOR  SOME  PRIVACY
THROW  ALL  MY  BAGGAGE  AWAY
LET  GO  OF  MY  YESTERDAY
LET  YOU  COME  UP  AND
ERASE  MY  ANXIETY,  YEA
THROW  ALL  MY  BAGGAGE  AWAY  ”

This is the second record in a row for Autumn that’s produced by our friend Emile Ghantous. This one feels retro and reminiscent of the old R&B swing, near the Motown era. It’s just a dreamy soundscape that feels like falling in love, which provides the perfect backdrop for Autumn’s vocals to shine. Lyrically, she keeps it catchy but relatable while singing about something we can all can relate to; swearing you’re done with love, and then the right one comes along.

But the video…

What starts off as a highlight reel of her and her new beau’s time together, has a twist in the end better than anything M. Night Shyamalan has done in years. It also hints that this is the first part of an ongoing story for the EP that’s on the way. Donning her signature green hair, Autumn gives a great performance (which could double as a perfect Harley Quinn audition… and King Leonidas) and service with a smile with her date by the pool. I won’t give away anything else except, maybe we should see if Autumn would be interested in a Cutco Cutlery endorsement. Just watch the video above and get a feel to see what’s coming next.

Autumn and the team have been hard at work gearing up for the release of her first EP. Not to mention a new record on the way with R&B legend and JBR Creative Group CEO Eric Benét. With plenty of content, backstory, and music to come… make sure to stay tuned and not miss the rise of the next pop star.
